जयपुर। प्रदेश में जनवरी माह में होने वाले पंचायतीराज के चुनाव ईवीएम से होंगे। सरकार ने चुनाव के लिए 15 करोड़ रुपये का बजट ईवीएम ट्रांसपोर्टेशन के लिए जारी कर दिया है। अब राज्य चुनाव आयोग जल्द ही भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड से ईवीएम मशीनें लेगा। प्रदेश में पंचायतीराज चुनाव के लिए राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग एक लाख 10 हजार मशीनें किराए पर लेगा। यह सभी मशीनें महाराष्ट्र, उड़ीसा ओर बिहार से आएंगी। आयोग के अनुसार, पंचायत समिति सदस्यों के लिए 45 हजार ईवीएम और जिला परिषद सदस्यों के लिए 45 हजार ईवीएम की जरूरत पड़ेगी। वहीं 20 प्रतिशत ईवीएम रिजर्व रखी जाएंगी।
➖ नई इवीएम के लिए 19 करोड़ रुपये जारी
इसके साथ ही राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग नई ईवीएम भी खरीदेगा। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार ने 19 करोड़ रुपये का बजट जारी कर दिया है. नई ईवीएम को लेकर आयुक्त प्रेम सिंह मेहरा ने बेल के अधिकारियों के साथ चर्चा की है। इसके साथ ही उन्हें जल्दी ईवीएम देने की मांग की है। हालांकि माना जा रहा है कि बेल के लिए इतना जल्दी नई ईवीएम देना मुश्किल लग रहा है। अगर बेल नई ईवीएम समय से देता है तो सरपंच के चुनाव भी ईवीएम से कराए जा सकते हैं। आयोग सरपंच के चुनाव ईवीएम से कराने पर भी विचार कर रहा है। 2015 में हुए पंचायत चुनाव में 16 जिलों में ईवीएम के जरिए मतदान करवाया गया था।

Government of villages to be selected from EVM, one lakh 10,000 machines to be taken from three states
Jaipur In Uttar Pradesh, Panchayati Raj elections to be held in the month of January will be from EVMS. The government has released a budget of Rs. 15 crore for EVM transportation for elections. Now, the state Election Commission will soon take EVMS from Bharat Electronics Limited. In Uttar Pradesh, the state Election Commission will hire one lakh 10,000 machines for Panchayati Raj elections. All these machines would come from Maharashtra, Orissa and Bihar. According to the Commission, 45 thousand EVMs and Zilla Parishad members will be required for Panchayat Samiti members. 20% EVMs reserve will be kept.
Rs 19 crore released for ➖ new EVM
The state Election Commission will also procure new EVMS. The state government has released a budget of Rs 19 crore for the same. Commissioner Prem Singh Mehra has held discussions with the bell officials on the new EVMS. At the same time, they have demanded early EVMS. However, it is believed that it is difficult to give new EVMS so soon for the vine. If Bell gives new EVMS in time, the sarpanch elections can also be conducted from EVMS. The Commission is also considering to conduct sarpanch elections from EVMS. Polling was conducted through EVMS in 16 districts in the panchayat elections held in 2015.
