The state Government has decided not to conduct examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all universities, colleges and technical educational institutions in the state this year in view of the corona epidemic infection situation. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting at CM Housing on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Speaking at the meeting, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that in view of the scenario of corona epidemic, undergraduate and postgraduate courses of higher and technical education will not be conducted this year and all students will be promoted to the next class without examination.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Higher Education Maelstrom Singh Bhati, Minister of State for Technical Education Subhash Garg, Chief Secretary Rajiv Swarup, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Niranjan Arya, Higher Education Secretary Shuchi Sharma, Information and Public Relations Commissioner Mahendra Soni among others.

According to this, the Vice-Chancellor has given some directions which say that all theoretical and experimental examinations are postponed to prevent infection.
